Dedicated to Collectors of Early American Glass Cup Plates

September 2006 eNewsletter

It is Labor Day weekend with rain here in New England. The perfect opportunity to work on cup plates. I apologize for the long delay between Newsletters, but time has slipped away and hobbies have had to take a back seat while business needs were attended to.

If you have the time to write something of interest for future articles, we would appreciate your help. Perhaps you had a visit to a Museum or found a special cache' of goodies at an Antique Shop. Perhaps you have questions or answers for the Forum, that will allow your fellow collectors to add their two cents.

Anything that you can do to help us communicate monthly will take the pressure off and add knowledge and enjoyment as we all try to improve our collections and keep this site nonprofit. Just drop us an email Cupplates@aol.com

We are also trying to reach Cup Plate Collectors that do not have Internet access. If you know of fellow collectors that we can mail our newsletter to, please drop us an email with their name and address.

Thank you,
Dave McDonnell

     READ THE REPORT TODAY

We have had some wonderful discussions about the Lavender 56 and the final comments can be sent to the Forum once you read the FINAL REPORT. Arch Doty has been conducting some wonderful testing on colored glass and has finished his report. Thank you Arch, this report is a valuable resource for all cup plate collectors. It will have equal value for collectors of EAPG.
